Skin looks a little over done. Looks like part of the background was smoothed in the process in the second photo. Look at the bottom left of that image. Also probably should clone out the strap line in the first image.

Definitely overdid the skin toning. Also veins in over-sharpened eyes are not so good either.

Couple of Canon bodies, a couple of Canon lens, few gadgets all stuffed in a bag...and a stick, and a tripod.

Okay guys, I hear you and I can do better. I have replaced the originals with newly reprocessed versions taking your suggestions into account. Please check again and see if they are any better.

I just saw these and thought the same thing as soon as I looked at them. Now I'm wondering how the first ones looked. :-)

You really don't need to do so much smoothing on the skin. You are losing definition and they don't look natural. With a glamour shot it might be okay, but for a headshot I want it to look more defined.

I didn't see the originals. The current versions look good to me except for the reflections in eyes, especially in #2.

Thanks Oh, and I agree; I forgot to remove one of those umbrella reflections in #2. I'll fix that.

Thanks P. I guess I should have added that she has lots of freckles which she wanted me to get rid of. I went way overboard at first but have now replaced them with reedited versions where I tried to use the least possible smoothing that still got rid of the freckles.

I understand. Sometimes it can be tough to work with that type of request. Nice job.

First one still looks very over processed to me I'm afraid. Especially the eyes and around the mouth.

Very good eye Dan. For various reasons, I couldn't change the first one. I may work on it some more this weekend. Thanks.
