1/30 F4 ISO 3200. We came in on base leg and I just had to take this one. Runway visible to the side of the nose on the right.

Lovely image.
I only went across the bridge you photographed - and had slightly more cloudy weather in November last year.
(Would be nice to go again, but unfortunately not possible at the moment... :( - costs...)

Thank You, this is the second mandatory position to make Kremlin photos. The first one is on the bridge closer to Kremlin. Hope You'll have a chance to make a shot from the first position at better weather conditions. :)

I did take photos from the bridge closer - but it was overcast.
No idea when I'll have the opportunity to visit Moscow again - well, barring any accidents I should have at least a few decades more :D

Near Gorki Park if I remember correctly? - I spent 10 days there in November 2014 - I saw a fair bit but going back would be nice.
(If only to spend more time in the museums :))

Not far. Google maps coordinates 55.745493, 37.573660 Borodinskiy bridge. Btw, you can see metro bridge on the foto and train.
Gorky park is here - 55.730571, 37.603057
Best time is May. Take it into consideration.
Stalin's skyscraper

Is that the one with the Ministry of the Interior in it? - If it is, lovely building (from the outside) except for all the air conditioning units stuck on it...
I can imagine May being a better time - finances also come into play for me...

You meen left building is the Ministry of internal Affairs?
No, it's Tanzania embassy. Next - House of literators.

I meant the skyscraper in the back - in German I believe that is called "Zuckerbäckerstil".
(Looks a bit like Moscow State Unversity from afar, it is just not white and more a hamm - what was the colour, "sandstone grey".)

It's a house for people. Not ordinary people. Scientists, aviation experts and so on. Built in 1948—1954.
A little bit larger (sorry for off-topic)

Now I understood your remark about Ministry - Ministry of foreign affairs is in skyscraper. And it is grey a little bit.

Looks like I got the ministry wrong. Ah well. I actually think I might not have a photo of it as there wasn't a good angle to get one from - plus it was the afternoon too.

Edit: Just looked at the map, I know why :D - when I walked there, I got there from the back...
