That's a great shot! did you use autobracketing? i always felt that HDR could only be done with a lot of time to change exposure etc.

This was done from a single exposure, raw. Early morning shot, after an overnight storm. Remnants of the storm at horizon. I like how the scene morphs from brilliant color in foreground to nearly B/W in distance.

Tonemapped with Photomatrix

I don't use templates and I treat each photo each time for the output I want. I try to avoid too much clown-poop and keep it natural, but I tend to increase certain colors for pop, so it's not natural looking anyways.
