Do you always use pellets or sometimes cones? I've never used cones, but some of my friends swear that you get more hop nature from them.

Always pellets so far, but will try cones shortly maybe for a Black IPA. Probably try to grow my own next springs as well.

Those pellets look like pressed alfalfa. I know its looks because we once had a pet (rescued) rabbit, and alfalfa was part of her food.

Found some wild hops a few weeks ago and today was harvest day. These will soon be used in a fresh brew as aroma hops. First time using fresh hops so I'll be a bit leery, but looking forward to the attempt.
