Sep 18, 2015 02:36 | #5428 Thought I would ask on here, buget is a bit tight right now heading into 2016 but I can afford to move to a Sigma 120-300 OS but not the sport version. I would love the Sport since I can make the AF faster. Im wondering how good the AF is on the OS version, from photos the lens seems sharp even with Tele Converters so thats great to see but I need AF speed for sports like Racing and Mountain Bikes. I've not had an issue with AF speed on my OS model on my D4, even with either the 1.4 or 2.0 tc's (both Sigma). In fact, I'd argue that last weekend with the 2.0 on it focussed quicker than my Nikon 70-200/2.8 VR1 does with a 1.4 tc.
