EverydayGetaway Cream of the Crop More info | Oct 11, 2015 14:51 | #2874 Anyone in here move from an X-E1 to an X-E2? Is it a meaningful upgrade? I've been thinking about getting an X-E2 since I had the X-E1 before, but now I'm finding that the X-E1 is significantly cheaper ($300 cheaper on the used market) so I'm considering just getting the X-E1 again... I'm also considering the X100, but I've read that it's prone to some issues that the X100S and other X bodies don't have, it's also a fixed 35mm which is a FL I'm not crazy about... idk, it's a tough choice for me, but I really miss my Fuji! It feels a little bit faster and the AF is better, you get Classic Chrome too. I think the biggest difference is the screens. The refresh rate on the X-E2's EVF is way better than on the older model & the rear screen is a much higher resolution. The button placement are a little different also. One other big plus is you get Wi-Fi, handy if you need to pop a photo into the internet asap. Fujifilm cameras and lenses.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I'll have to give it some thought... I can get an X-E1 for under $200 if I scour eBay enough... the X-E2 I've never seen below $450... tough call. If I make such an elective purchase, I'm holding you personally responsible. -Matt
