One from yesterday hanging out in Lake Michigan. The line is for divers that might need to pull themselves back if caught in a current. While I was waiting around I thought I would take a pic of the "tag-line" before I went down to pull the anchor off the shipwreck we were on.

Now that's what I'd call a "leading line".

Among so many other stunning shots in these past few days, this one gets merit for uniqueness...

Thanks Immaculens...I was just hanging out floating around off the back off the boat when I looked at the line and thought this might be something worthy to show here. A quick shout up to the captain and I had my rig and was shooting away, trying to time it right in between the wave swells...

Gosh this thread is busy. Don't know where to begin to comment!
Can I just say great stuff everyone!

I was talking to someone yesterday who has an aged Nikon and has been looking at replacing it. Interestingly she is considering the 70D, so took mine in for her to look at. She wondered if it might be too heavy for her arthritic hands, then said she was wondering about full frame. I said that would be heavier, but it lead me to reading some comparison reviews. It was really pleasing to see the 70D certainly comes out very well in most reviews, which of course we all know first hand ߘ

you took a shot.

today my girlfriend and I were doing macro flower/bee shots and one began buzzing close to her eyes for a few seconds. She as saying "Take Shots! Take Shots!!!"

I did not take a shot

and the bee got away.

My Lesson: be more mindful

Cheers  ;-)a

Read in the paper that a viewing platform is being built on Napier's Marine parade. Went over for a look and to record the beginning of a series for my own interest.
