I like the poses and lighting but the skin work looks a bit heavy and you've lost detail IMO.

I really like both of these!
Not sure what this girl is going to do after high school but she should consider modelling, she's a gorgeous girl. That smile would sell what ever product you associated with it!
What did you use for lighting?

Love the first one. Outstanding. She (and her parents) must have loved this.

DOF aside, I'm not sure I've seen a senior portrait where the senior is pushed over into a corner so much. The city might be photogenic but shouldn't be the (out of) focus of the image. Joking aside, I think the subject has been minimized too much in this image.

But that's my opinion, more importantly, did she like this picture?

Im really proud that we started this thread a few yrs ago. Senior picture quality is through the roof and cats out of the bag. If your gonna do it you might as well do it right..........Nice job everyone. Photographers have come and gone out of business........But the quality of everyones photography when it comes to seniors is Great. Keep it up..share your knowledge, share what you did. Kids deserve a great image of themselves. They will never be a HS senior again and its the most important individual picture they will ever take so do it right.
