Very nice Peter. I've been struggling with my Tammy the past couple outings, even static images at 600mm were hard to get right, then today I was at work and pulled it out to shoot some hawks in a field, took a couple shots, and then I realized, no vc. I don't even know when it quit working. Haven't had time to look at it yet. It's going in anyway for updates pretty soon. Used some today, not bad if I can keep the shutter high. Post some pics later.
And as a side note, make sure you register your lens with Tamron so you are set if you need updates or warranty work. Finally remembered to do mine about a month ago.

Thanks Dave. Just got my lens back also 2 weeks ago and thanks for the reminder. Today my son's first flag football game and I used the lens and it is my first time using this in sports and got me so excited. I thought of those photographers in the real football game on the sideline. I hope you got yours VC fix and get updated soon. Some shots from today's game.

Got some sun yesterday after days and days of dark skies and rain, but it was REALLY bright when I was able to get out. The heron was in the weeds, which softened the light quite a bit. Giving the Tamron a workout from 150-600 yesterday.

A few from last summer (although it is still summer here!). Not many opportunities to use the lens.

Hmmm, strange that the Metadata show "Canon 90-300" (the Exif data show correctly in Flickr ). I think i have read about this glitch somewhere, but I can't remember what.
