How wonderful an image of mine could inspire a Religious experience

My buddhist background is more Esoteric Northern Buddhism.. technically originated from the writings of A.P. Sinnet from 1885..., but others since... but surely this all gets us off-topic from "70D owners unite! Post pics and discuss!"

I worked at a place in 2005 where they had a work policy: avoid discussions regarding religion, sex, and politics.

That seems like good advice to me, and besides, there is the "Lounge" of this Forum if you wish to post off-topic material...

Back on topic... mind explaining some of the processing behind your photo?

always willing to share - I use Adobe Lightroom 5 and often start with a certain preset, and when one fits for the feel of the image - then I adjust exposure, and fine-tune.

The 3 biggest changes in my photography over the past 1.5 yrs is that I love giving many images a 'Yester-year' vintage feel, and I also love cropping to give a panorama or unconventional dimension to my pics. The 3rd is composition.

If you use Lightroom I can provide a screen-shot of the two main Develop Panels I use plus more info, a you like.

I know flowers are important in the Netherlands - or used to be. I remember going to a huge flower market when I was there 1974. It was computerised I seem to think. Amazing anyway, never seen so many flowers in one place, before or since!

Lots to go through from today. This Red Tail was too far away for a good resolution shot, so I went the other way with it instead of tryi.g to sharpen.

Yes I'd be keen for that too - just need to look for some suitable opportunities to get shots appropriate for it.
