Does this lens have a profile for Lightroom 4? I'm having to use the 2.8 lens version which I have to do manually on each photo.

Not sure about Lightroom 4, but I use Lightroom 5 and the profile is added for me.....I would imagine there is a way for you to add it.

Used this lens a lot last holiday. Such great lens. But sometimes it looks like the IS is ruining the sharpness of a photo.

It's worth every penny. It's the first lens that goes into my camera bag for most any outing - crisp at any focal length and distance.
Here's something shot towards minimal focus distance and at the long end (35mm).

I know this lens isn't really "recommended" for crop, but I'm curious, you guys got any samples taken with a crop camera?
