I like those colors and the uniformly packed appearance in the first one.

Very nice try OhLook! I like the first one more.

joeseph wrote in post #17706665 (external link)
really nice - I like that background!

Benitoite wrote in post #17706708 (external link)
Awesome work Ohlook and Stetzam!

Thanks, all!

OldCrow wrote in post #17706875 (external link)
I prefer the second photo with the blurred background. I'd blur the background even more. A tad busy for my tastes. Then again, I'm a guy. :p

I took ten shots, tried different things. Those two differ enough that you get a choice.

Levina de Ruijter wrote in post #17706999 (external link)
OhLook, I would probably vote for the first shot because you can hardly see the transition from bottom to wall and that makes the image a bit odd, which is good as it makes you look more closely.

I didn't expect the fold to disappear like that. It came out surreal. The bottle seems to float on nothing.

Nice color in those dead fish stetzam.
Levina de Ruijter wrote in post #17706999 (external link)
I love those fish, stetzam. Especially the second shot is great.
Thanks everyone for the nice comments. The majority of you voted for the black and white, but I'm with stetzam and prefer the colour version best. :)

Thank you Don, Levina and OhLook!

I hadn't said anything yet. But I said something just now. Do we have a time warp here?

But you liked my post, so no time warp yet, unfortunately...

Okay, so, you have a lot of vampires where you are then, stetzam?

 :p

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. But the images are intriguing. What's the story? Or did you put them there for the shots?

I was hoping you would contribute this week, knowing it would be good. And it is. I especially like the second as I think light in the first image is a bit flat but lovely in the second. Great work and beautiful images.

Nice ambiance Tim!

Thanks!

I was goofing around to see what the 5DsR would do with a Holga lens. Nothing like mixing 50 megapixels with a cheap plastic lens. :p
