Two severe macaws fly near a river in the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador. You can see the bare cheek patches characteristic of the macaws. This is a crop of a way too far away image!

A couple from today. I just wish they were closer! I layed out on a mud flat trying for pics of shorebirds, and tried for the egret that was maybe 150+ yards out when the herons made it leave.
