Out for a walk today, FE 90mm is a great lens but can hunt a little from near/far,far/near.

QUOTED IMAGE

Typical for a macro lens, as the focus range is so wide. Make use of the focus limiters. Also, it helps to pre-focus the lens if its really de-focused. Very nice that they built the focus switch into the focus ring itself.

Nice shots!

Most of you have probably already seen this shot but I need to start posting more in the various lens forums too.

My vote goes to the FE 35 1.4.....I really like the dedicated aperture ring. Second place goes to the FE90 though, for the genius design of the MF switch.

Imagine combining the dedicated aperture ring AND the AF/MF switch. Lens on steroids!

Thanks, I've been using the focus limiter in the middle and it helps.

All handheld.

After being closed for the month of August, I was finally able to visit the nearby botanical gardens this morning.

I just thought I'd share the full frame of an image I uploaded earlier of this glass of Stella Artois. The detail at 100% is amazing, not because of anything I've done but rather because of the extraordinary piece of glass used to take the image with.
