Alien Bees Users Check In (2)

Probably a beaten horse but I'm looking to upgrade my triggers to pocket wizards. Can someone guide me in the right direction? Want to be able to triggers speedlites simultaneously with my AB1600 and also want to be able to remotely adjust the power of my AB1600 while on the fly on location. Any advice? Thank you

How about a cyber commander on top of a YN622C? That's what I do. Works like a charm.

Interesting, thanks for the idea. I only have cyber commander receivers for 4 lights, now I can trigger 6. Never needed 6 but I do occasionally use 5.

I was trying the ABR800 in the field for some urban shots. It worked OK seemed to hot spot a bit, perhaps I was too far away and asking too much from it.

Even with dumb speedlites the cost of csrb receivers plus hotshoe adapters would be as muchnasnthe flash itself while a dumb trigger system with multiple receivers can be had for less than a single cybersync receiver.

My current setup is my Ab1600, 2 YN cheap strobes, a Canon 430 ex, and I am using cheapo YN602 triggers. Will the YN622c trigger my current receivers? All of this is soo confusing sometimes....
