Friend's "gas trap" Springfield Armory M1 rifle.

Rifle was positioned vertically & shot on a white BG using 2 softboxes; Canon 1 Dx, 70-200 @ 140 mm.; 1/125 - f/16 - ISO 100

Great discovery? Finally learned how to extract objects efficiently by using the Ps Pen tool. :-)

A pair of .303 Lewis Guns on a Scarff ring mount. These are on the Shuttleworth Collections Bristol F2b Fighter. By all accounts a single Lewis Gun on one of these mounts was quite easy to manage, as it is well within the mounts design capabilities. Adding the second gun, although great for firepower, brings the weight very close to the limit of what's possible. I have seen this demonstrated with blanks back in the 70's while flying. The collection used to operate an original WWI LVG CVI, the German equivalent to the Bristol. All the demonstrations were done while doing simple gentle "weaves". In combat the F2b was usually flown just like a single seater, but with the extra crewman in back with rear protection. Not a job I would have wanted, but still maybe better than life in the trenches.

Ruger precision rifle 6.5 creedmoor. Should start reloading in a few weeks (waiting for a VLD seater stem) to see what accuracy I can get. Factory ammo did pretty damn good.

Awesome gun my buddy has one & I'm saving up to get one next spring. I'd be interested in hearing what load you come up with. What scope did you mount on it? I'm thinking of a Vortex Viper.

Yeah I like Vortex, I have 3 Crossfire II's 2- 4-12's with BDC and a I think a 6-16 with v-brite, I just got it and put it on a .204 CZ for varmint. The 14x wouldn't be enough for me on the 6.5 we plan on doing some really long range shooting with it.
