Photo booth options

Lately we have been offering a photo booth option for our wedding package deals. Been very basic to this point with a frame and a box full of funny props. All photos were given to the client on a disc. I would like to offer people an easy way to download their shot onto their cell phones. What would be the simplest, cheapest way to do this. Advice from somebody using a system like this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

What are you currently using? I use DSLRBooth and they have a way to do this with their software. I use an iPad and their iOS program automatically imports the photos where you can air drop, e-mail, text, etc... from the iPad where the preview is.

Are you using the standard or pro version?

dslrBooth made some changes to the program recently, but you used to have to have the pro version to get all of the extra options. If I remember right, as you take a photo you have the option to send that photo using SMS or email, but you have to have an internet connection. The other thing is you would need to have a person running the computer while you're shooting, the option to send the photo pops up for a short time.

Also, I'm using the Mac version of the software and it is a little different than the windows version. It's not very user friendly, but once you get it set up and running, it works very well.

I use the pro version and bought the Windows version specifically for the extra functionality. You wouldn't have to have anyone operating the booth it setup correctly. You could have an iPad setup to control previews and the option of whether or not to send the photo via sms, e-mail, etc...

Also, my last wedding reception was in a location without internet. I had my iPad and computer networked via the hotspot on my phone to be able to use all portions of the application that required a network connection.
