Very nice ... not an easy thing to expose.

Lupo, thank you very much. Not easy, considering the windy conditions where some balloons moved and blurred and not all of them were glowing at the same time. I had to expose the same scene several times to get the glow of every balloon and blend the shots in PS. Another thing was that the glow happened randomly without any warning, so I had to anticipate which section of the 180 degree field was going to be lit. I also didn't have a fish eye lens to get a the entire filed, so I got perhaps only around 60 degrees in 2 shots that were stitched together. Manual focus set to infinity, low ISO and the shutter speed was purely experimental; I pressed the remote and released it when I though it was long enough. Fortunately I have shot fireworks like that in a past so I was somewhat prepared :)

Love this, Renata. This is quite an achievement in the circumstances.

Thank you, Annie. I was determined and didn't want to walk away with a bunch of images that were just snapped without any thoughts behind them
:)
