After reading this string, I found a 7D with a 67XX shudder count for $4995.00. I think I'll take chance.

That must be a typo. They are about one tenth that amount.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I paid £500 for my set up including a 55-250 STM lens, the lens was new and the 7d only had 3K on the shutter, here's a pic of them.

Nice combo. That's a lot of value for the money!

I did enjoy it. Thank you. After reading pages and pages of the DR thread your typo helped bring a smile to my face.

I recently got a 7D with 11K on the shutter with a 17-55mm ef-s 2.8 and 10mm sigma fisheye for 880 euros on ebay.
I sold the fisheye for 250 which meant i got the 7D and 17-55 for just 630 which is a steal.
I already have a T4i with kit lens which i got for 250 euro , scuffed a bit bit only 9k on shutter.
I also have a 5D mkII with 24-105 kit lens.

I now have the issue of not knowing which to get rid of the T4i or the 7D .
I generally just shooot family , kids and landscape but the 7D just feels so much better
than the t4i even though i see no difference in IQ , although i find the touchscreen very useful.

Any opinions as which to move on ?

Ive had two 7D cameras, the first one was used heavily for wildlife and also as a second camera to a full frame at weddings (yes they can do more than just wildlife) I purchased the second one new online when the dollar in Australia meant I could get a brand new 7D for around $700. that camera has been lightly used and i now use a 7DII and 5DIII. The reason I upgraded was because the new 7DII had identical controls to the 5DIII and I can shoot the two in tandem without having to remember the difference in ergonomics. I sold my original 7D on eBay for $700 heavily used just before I got the Mark 2. I have kept the hardly used 7D and my husband who uses a 70D (as he is mainly into video) uses it as a back up. Both 7D and 7DII are very capable cameras and amazing for wildlife/sport/speed and reach. The people who whinged and complained about noise and the original 7D just never really took the time to learn how to use the camera to the best advantage (at least among the 7D owners I know) some of my best shots have been with my original 7D and have actually printed very large and sold some. I came from a 300D then 30D 40D 50D to the 7D and never looked back. If you can pick one up cheap and lightly used its an amazing camera if you are prepared to use it to the best of it abilities
