Some from a walk in Windsor Great Park this morning.

Even with a 600mm, some of these are still cropped because of the subject distance.

The rutting season has started

We didn't see any large stags at it, but these young bucks were practising, under the watchful eye of another

Beautiful capture !

Thanks.
I think that was my favorite of the bunch too.

Though this is a managed heard of deer, in a very large park they are still fairly shy of humans and won't let you get too close without moving off.
This shot of a couple in a wooded area looked more 'natural', as if I had come across some wild deer.

There are lots of wild deer where I live, but its much easier to just go to the park :-). Though you still might have to walk a few miles to find them.

Took the 150-600 out to a softball tournament yesterday. This is my 13 year old granddaughter playing in a 16-18 year old high school tournament. She holds her own, 3 hits yesterday, and they won the tournament.

When I bought this lens, I did not buy the Sigma dock since I can MFA the two cameras I use it on. The OS seemed good enough at the time as I usually have this lens on a tripod. I decided to buy the dock to see if changing the OS to Dynamic Mode would make a difference as I would like to use this lens hand held more and I am not the steadiest person. The difference is absolutely amazing. Wish I had bought it with the lens. Added fast focus today and hope to try it out tomorrow.

Standing behind the fence in center field for this shot.

Gripped 6D, gripped 6D2, gripped 70D, gripped T3i, 24-105 F4L, 50mm 1.8 STM, 55-250mm, 18-135mm, 60mm EF-S macro, 70-200 F4L IS, 400mm F5.6L, 18-55mm IS STM, Canon 85mm 1.8, Sigma 150-600mm C., Sigma 100-400mm C, Samyang 8mm 3.5 fisheye

as far as I know, that happens to everyone with this lens. If one cares to, click on edit metadata, click on the lens, click on the drop-down menu and select from your gear.

Congrats!
Have patience with the lens and yourself.... when many of us stated there is a learning curve... we meant 'there is a learning curve' ;-)a
