All taken on the 70D by the way...

My first calendar design will soon be available in various outlets, not least on Amazon.

It depicts 2 of my favourite subjects - ladybirds and bees.

The calendar has it's own ISBN number and will be searchable on-line once it goes public.

It will be in both A3 and A4 format, but here's a quick preview of what it contains...

Summer vacation trip out west......

It's not everyday you get to see beer bottles from the Prohibition Era. One of the many cool things about shipwrecks on the Great Lakes is that they are protected from those that would salvage shipwreck "tokens" thus preventing future generations of divers from seeing such items.

These are on the "Roatarian" which is a shallower wreck in 85' of water about nine miles off shore.

A little backstory:
"The Rotarian was built in 1889 in Sandusky, Ohio. It was approximately 147 feet long with a beam of 27 feet. The vessel spent many years as a passenger excursion ship.

When it moved to Chicago in the 1920’s, this aging vessel was used successively as a dance hall, the home of the Cook County Democrats, and as a restaurant that offered illegal bootleg alcohol during Prohibition. Even Al Capone entertained on this ship.

I can't complain one bit about this lens. Actually, I can... I paid full price at Best Buy and it can be had for 1/2 that for a great condition used copy! (which is clearly my own fault ) But for the quality and the price it's hard to beat.

Fully agree. Although I think Canon had created nice upgrades for every STM lens, including its new focal lengths like the 40 and the 10-18.

Burnett i see improvement on the noise in the background, did you know you can remove/decrease them with lightroom.

I love mine.

It is my most used lens.
