Some issues with other parts, related. Older-age along with a heavier workload than in my youth means I'm going to get more issues.

It's all part of the journey, and I just need what I got left to get me 5 to 10 more years at work...

^ so pretty. There were lots of photographs from Herb Ritts, I was half expecting Allan's work to be in there too, it was that good.

Are any of you registering your photos via the US copyright office?

I would need a photo worth copyrighting first.

I was thinking the same when I posted, but I'm trying to remain positive.

I've been playing around with a Sony A7RII lately. It's an interesting camera and I like the way it handles high ISO's, and some nice features, but it doesn't feel like it's quite ready for prime time.

You can register in batches up to around 500 at a time. I am going to sell some work on etsy so I decided to get more serious about copyright.

So, I decided to try out an online glasses retailer; cheap glasses and frames.

They of course required a copy of my RX, no problem, scan it and email it. Aces.

Next step, Pupil Distance measurement. They say just hold a credit card under your nose with the magnetic strip facing outwards, use your webcam and center your noggin in the crosshairs and take the snap. I tell them I do not own or will ever use a webcam, they say no problem, just take a selfie (I despise that term), and make sure your eys are wide open.

This is what I sent them:

I warned them of the frightening content contained within the jpeg, by my rep just laughed and claimed it was the best self-portrait for P.D. measurement they had ever received...

What, do people not know how to take their own picture...with a camera...?
