Cardinal at the beach

I went down to Ocean Isle Beach, NC for the weekend with expectations of getting some good birding in. I didn't get too much, saw a few Herons, maybe an Anhinga. But my best photo came from this Cardinal that was making noise outside my balcony. It appears he's been quite the messy eater:

Oh well, I'll be headed down to the Outer Banks in early November and I'll be playing less golf. That should leave more time for finding some birds. :)
