more night shots. These shots are my ettr attempts. I shot them at the given iso and brought them down to give the lights its purpose. I'll post my ettr test shots later in the evening to compare with the previous shots.

I've been itching to get a pilotfly gimbal thanks to watching Dave Dougdale's videos. :-)

There was an interesting flyover this morning. These are the types of aircraft that carry skydivers out of the Perris, Ca. Airfield.

If I bought every cool thing I see in videos like that I'd have a pilotfly (actually the Came product is probably more dumbed-down for me) and the DJI Inspire, which looks crazy cool. 8-)

Really cool shot of the formation of planes.

You wouldn't believe how hard it is at the moment. He just wont look at the camera for more than a split second. I was messing around with the FD 135 prior to this shot with limited sucess. It was nice to pop this lens on and instantly grab a keeper with eye AF

No edits done yet as I'm still on the road. But thought I'd share some SOOC thru the magic of wifi download from the Sony to the iPad.

Looks like a flight of Twin Otters and the Skyvan. Perris does a lot of big group jumps. The Otters hold up to 22 skydivers each, and the Skyvan holds at least that many, but I can't remember the exact count anymore. I'm guessing that formation is doing a 200 way of some sort.

The post office finally found my lens adapter they lost. Got to try out my Ricoh 50mm 2.0 which is a lens I do conversions to Canon EF.

Completely stunned at how easy it is to nail focus on the A7, WOW! I mean my hit rate on DSLRs isn't bad, but it's perfect on the A7 so far!

It's easier to focus on this thing than my RB67, and that has a MASSIVE 70x70cm finder.

First picture is my neighbor's kid, second is of some flies lol had nothing better to test it out on. Both wide open.

They fly formation like that every once in awhile and usually, several times a day like today. I assumed a sky diving team was practicing, especially since this was on a weekday.

Me, I just can't imagine jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.

Well first of all there is no such thing as a perfectly good airplane. You were on an aircraft carrier, you should know this. :p

Skydiving is great fun...as long as your perfectly good parachute opens perfectly.

Here's what it looks like when you've just left the Otter at 14,00 feet over Sebastian, FLorida. The camera guy was shooting over me.
