I knew that another log had fallen in front the falls before my trip last October and wasn't super excited about shooting the falls. However, I really liked the way the steam flowed off of the log when the sun started to warm it up.

I processed this on the dark side and it looks best on black, click the Flicker link (external link) to do so.

Very nice, I like the light in the valley behind the falls!

I like the darker mood that you created. It really brings out the lights behind the fall.

I think I am most drawn to landscape photography because of the transformative power of light and how it interacts with the landscape. For my artistic tastes, dark is the best canvas for light.

I saw that on your Flickr page a day or two ago, really outstanding. Nice to see a landscape photo with subdued colors, and nice post processing, I'm assuming you did some, as in - it's not really noticeable that you processed things.
