CLAIMED BY HARIHACKER

Two posts ago, I gave away a film body, grip and flash. Now I want to give away a lens. I have a question first. Is it OK, in this thread, to ask for shipping charges? The lens is a perfectly fine 28-105 f/3.5-4.5 USM. I just want $15 to cover the shipping charges. Can I post here, or should I just lower my price in the 'SALE' thread I have going?

I am not asking you to use PayPal gift. That would violate the rules. I am giving you the lens, if you pay for shipping. Regular Paypal is fine.

I have a Canon EF 75-300 1:4-5.6 That I used for a while on my Eos-M2 but recently I've been using the 22 pancake so it's just setting around so I want to pay it forward. It's nowhere near a 7D2 that longbeach Gary, but hopefully it will help someone else out.

I wouldn't mind having that either if you're planning on putting names into a hat. :)

Can we not forget the rules, as I recall them: Offer something up before you claim.

The only problem with that is you never know when you want something that the person may delay shipping or just not ship it at all. If you offer something and someone wants that, do you wait until you get the thing you asked for? I'm waiting on a bag. I've promised my bag to someone else but haven't received the bag offered to me. I can't give up my bag until the other person sends me theirs.

I have no problem offering up a lens if I'm getting one to replace it. I just don't want to be part of a domino effect of not sending something when I haven't received something.

Hope that made sense. I'm watching TV and typing this. :)

well this thread is giveaway... and you dont have to ask for anything or something before you giveaway yours. just give then wait for someone to post theirs and if you like it, ask for it...Longbeachgary was different as his is in good deed. before he gave those camera body, he gave somethings away without choosing to whom he will give. in this thread, you have to giveaway first before asking......

the more you give, the more you can ask.....
