Mc is that a night game? and where is it?

It is a night game at McNeese State's Cowboy Stadium in Lake Charles, LA.

They just put in brand new brighter lamps with new lenses in the lights a week and a half ago. Definitely brighter than last season.

Really like the kicker through the net shot! Very nice IQ and creative perspective. May have to steal this idea from you. The following shot with the RB looking into the lens is nice too. Sometimes the simplest shots look the best.

Like the capture, but it looks like you could use some ISO correction. The color in the first three could use some correction (vibrance & saturation) so they pop like the red in the fourth.

Sorta happy with these results. I was a mile off the field using a 300 plus 1.4 extender
forcing me to F4 @ iso 8000, 12,800 on the second. Cropped pretty heavy to get tight.
Some post processing, should print just fine.

I had one of those arrrgh moments at the game I shot this weekend. It was damn hot when the game started and I decided to go with just one camera body with a 70-200 on it and no second camera body with a wider angle lens on.

I'm in the corner of the end zone. QB goes around the end and is running up the sideline right towards me. I got him filling the frame but about the 10 yard line he decides to sky and completely hurdle over a tackler. I was not expecting it so I got the defender being hurdled and the QB from the waist down. If I would have had the other body with the wider angle lens I would have probably switched and got the player hurdling over the defender.

The second shot above is a second defender hitting the QB on the way down.

Lesson learned and I will have two bodies on me next game.

Burnet44, I'm loving your Baylor photos. It's my alma mater. I spent 4 great years there and spent a semester shooting baseball, softball, and tennis for the school newspaper.

Love all these shots and can't wait to see more!
