Super Moon Eclipse from Fort Griffin State Historic Site, Central Texas

Forecast said Dallas was on the edge of being clouded over by a wave of tropical moisure coming in from the Gulf of Mexico, so a last minute decision was made to run west to Fort Griffin, a dark sky site in north central Texas. We had a few hazy clouds for the first 15mins after unset, but by the time the show started, the moon was in pure clear skies.

22-moon set taken at approx 10-min intervals through a Canon 300mm F4 on my Canon 6D, scaled down and placed within a single frame taken at 47mm foreground shot taken after the eclipse was complete.
