That second shot is amazing. May I ask what your lighting setup was?

Man, that would make me want to cry, no doubt about it.

Yeah, I was pretty freaked for a minute or two. Believe or no, I was so intent on what I was doing with my other camera that I actually stepped on the 7D while it was laying in the mud! However, it cleaned up very well and I'm debating whether I even need to send it in for an internal cleaning. Re: the lens, no mud reached glass (always use a lens hood!), and the focus ring turns as smoothly as ever, so I think I dodged a bullet this time. Lesson learned: SITUATIONAL AWARENESS!

My 6D and 100L took a dive straight onto a concrete dock when the wind blew the tripod over, played it cool because people were watching but inwardly I was wetting myself, not a single mark let alone any damage, phew!!

I thought this is what the camera and lens were made for. I am semi-serious. Actually, scratch that, I am serious. I wouldn't bother sending it in unless something broke.

I have had my 7D and L lenses out in some pretty nasty weather - not for long periods of time, but sill. A 7D and 100L shouldn't have any problem dealing with a bit of mud like that.

Oh, and nice shot, I like it.

Beautiful rose. I really like the other photo as well but have no idea what it is. Please tell all - or enter it in the "What is this?" thread.
