Well, if it's any consolation, when I go on casual shoots, the 24-70 is on my camera 90% of the time. I would typically bring one additional prime, which FL would depend on where I'll be going.

I've tried to use other lenses on shoots, but, in the end, I always go back to the 85. I can't imagine shooting without it. The weight doesn't bother me anymore, either, since I've been using this combo for so long. MCSquared Photography

Oct 02, 2015 14:44 | #7160 Another vote for the 24-70 F2.8 L V2. Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).

inthedeck Cream of the Crop More info | Sounds like a plan to me. I found one locally, in Orlando, and since we're taking my son to Disney for his (early) birthday-present, I'll make some good use of it, hopefully, tomorrow. Cheers! MCSquared Photography

Hobbyists such as myself can only dream of such things. Oh, and welcome to the 1Dx club. How ya like it, thusfar? Hobbyist my butt, Manish... Hehehe... Hope you're doing well and thx for the 1Dx welcome... Purchased from fellow 1Dx user, Julian (jwcdds)... THX JULIAN!!! So far it's working out well... I've shot several sporting events, a few e-sessions, and several landscape scenes... It even did well on a soaked-drenched ride at Disneyland (Splash Mountain)!!! Hehehe... Next step will be LA Fashion Week, which starts next week... I'm sure it can handle the fashion scene, but still, the first time using it will be nerve-racking... I'll be posting up samples from the runway presentations on here... Stay tuned!!! Hi. My name is Butch...
