POTN G-series Speed Challenge #554 - Emotions and feelings

Your entry should illustrate a human emotion or feeling and your ONE-WORD TITLE should say what it is - and it's OK if more than one person chooses the same subject. Examples: Love, fear, anger, happiness, sadness, amusement, bored, tired, cheerful, angry... lots more to choose from. Humans only, please, no pets.
***************
RESULTS!

Expected more entries this week as it seemed an easy subject, but thanks for the three that did arrive - all good so that makes picking the winning order rather hard.

Raven - "Cozy". Cozy was the perfect title for this nice shot. The lamp in the corner doesn't help the composition but I appreciate it might have been hard to exclude it.

Maureen - "Angry". Somehow I expected a baby shot from you so I wasn't surprised by this excellent composition. An unusual angle but most effectively showing one very ticked-off looking child.

rpolitsr - "amused". That balloon looks as if it might be a cow-milking trainer - no wonder the girl is amused!

All three are winners but since I reluctantly have to rank them, here's the order:

#1 Maureen
#2 Raven
#3 rpolitsr

Good luck with the next challenge. Maureen!

:-) Well done everyone .I did try but the strange thing is ,teenagers [which mine are] seem happy to post "selfies" taken by a phone but as soon as you point a proper camera at them they just rebel.
I don't like pointing cameras at strangers either so without willing victims i had to call it quits on this subject.Young children are the perfect subjects for something like this --well done all :).

It may be easy for those who have a heap of family photos. For me, it was impossible. I didn't want a posed photo of someone faking an emotion. The other choice was street candids, and what Trumper said about them applies also to me.

Congrats Maureen and Rafael. Excellent shots. And thanks, teekay, for the always coveted 2nd spot and for hosting a fun theme. I was hoping for more entries too. But I can understand it being a bit difficult for people who don't shoot a lot of people shots. I happened to luck out and have a few that were applicable.

It was a while back but I recall taking this shot. I just couldn't get good composition without something I didn't like being in the shot. So I chose the lamp as the lesser of all evils. :-)

I know what you mean about teenagers. It does seem a bit weird that they'll post corny, poor quality, unflattering shots of themselves and all sorts of personal info on social media but won't stand still for a "real" photo. Maybe you could have shot one turning away and titled it "Embarrassed".;-)a

I, too, don't take many "people" photos and have some qualms about street photography, but I do have enough in my files to illustrate some emotions, and assumed almost everyone else would as well.

LOL, one day I will share this with Ella (my strong willed & only granddaughter). She was mad that I would not pick her up & threw a fit so I grabbed the camera that I had on the table. All day long I was trying to get her sweet smile with a little tongue in it without any luck & had to resort to the mad shot. This shot was taken with my DSLR at the park, just to show you how cute she can be.

Thanks for the hosting, Teekay. Sure wish we had another half dozen entries though. I will have a new challenge up tonight.

Great shots Maureen and Raven congratulations.
A nice challenge teekay, and too few entries for sure.

I shoot many family photos, usually snapshots of groups, and I agree that the best 'emotion' pictures come from the kids. My photo shows my granddaughter just after lunch the day of her birthday. We improvised the birthday balloons with disposable latex gloves and she was delighted with the glove fingers arranged as a crest. The birthday party took place in the weekend.
