I tell my wife that each one is highly specialized to fit particular circumstances ... Camera bags are like women shoes.... for the most part you wear one most of the time, every now and then you change it up just to take something different. Then when you go to a wedding you take special shoes and when you go running you put on special running shoes or boots for country dancing. All specialized to the task in hand. Anyway what's the point of a camera with interchangeable lenses, if you are only going to have one lens? My Flickr

Anyway what's the point of a camera with interchangeable lenses, if you are only going to have one lens? Alan Its an intellectual exercise, nothing more. It forces us to consider which lens is most important to us, and why. In a way, I think it helps us evaluate out photographic needs and focus in on those tools that best help us reach our goals. Its not very different than the exercise which asks "if your house was on on fire and you could only save one thing, what would it be". Mark
