A couple weird ones from my Detroit vacation.
I shot with some expired Portra 400UC film. And forgot to change the ISO setting on my AE-1, so had to have it pulled a couple stops.
Weird things happened. And I kinda love it.

This is the sign above the door at the Detroit Historical Museum.

A couple Polaroids from my Detroit vacation:

The first one is a double exposure taken with a Land Camera Automatic 100 on Fuji FP-3000b.
One exposure was of a map that's etched in the sidewalk in a plaza along the RiverWalk.
The other is of the RenCen, Detroit's tallest building.

The second one was taken with the same camera and is of Martha Reeves sitting on the steps of the Motown Museum - and she was nice enough to autograph it for me. :)

My wife dropped my Contax T2 a couple months ago, and now it won't turn on. The camera was it's case. Once in a while the lens will quickly pop out, but it goes right back inside the body. Does anyone know of any repair shops? It is the Gold 60th anniversary edition, so I hate seeing it just sit around.

I was so happy with my Polaroid double exposure that I spent one morning of my Detroit vacation shooting a roll of double exposures with my Canon Elan 7ne and a roll of Portra 400UC.

First, I shot the entire roll of a map of Detroit that was etched into the sidewalk at a plaza along the Riverwalk, then I went for a stroll taking photos of things that said "Detroit" to me.

I'm so happy with how they came out I'm thinking of giving it a try here in Charlotte too. Just have to find the right base image for the doubles -- don't know of any maps etched on sidewalks here, lol, but I'll try to find something!

Nice image. A few months ago someone gave me a FT QL. The meter is not accurate, but other than that it works fine.
