Here is a young Shingle Back Skink
I know it is young as back when I was a kid we use to go hunting for these to bring home for breeding in our enclosure.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.
It is just something that I may not like.

This one may look the same but it was actually found about 5 to 10 minutes later.
And i also took the other one back out bush.
Plus this one was in a totally different area, though I am thinking these were from the same clutch of eggs.
And these have just come out of their hibernation.

I prefer to be in the bush with the animals than a crowded city.

I'm jealous Lyn, I spend many hours in the bush but yet to spot a Green tree snake.

Something new for me, a swarm of eels. Spotted while watching a pair of Osprey. The Osprey were not in the least interested.
Two Pelicans were, flew close by a few times then flew off. A Tern was very interested, spent about 10 minutes circling above, made numerous dives towards it but kept backing out at the last moment.

EDIT: I have just been reliably informed that these are juvenile Saltwater Catfish (Plotosus lineatus) also known as Striped Catfish.

Asian House Gecko around our house. This sort of gecko came to Australia probably hiding in imported food around 1960.
