Love 'em... and how cool you used a 10D ! Proof its not the gear, but the gearee.. Err... the user ;-)a

I often find this to be the case of those still using an Xsi and nifty 50.... talent outshines gear.

Anywho - well done ~

The lens has good flare resistance. I don't know if it would be different on a digital body, but here's one taken with my EOS 630.

Perfect. It screws on typical of hoods.

Sorry, I was in a hurry when I wrote the above. Yes it fits snug and well - nice clean finish.... who can tell me if the official Canon hood has a felt-type inner finish?

Pros: for the money - quality hood and makes the body/lens duo look better

Cons: I supported China.

Does the Canon hood have a bayonet mount? It looks like my lens accepts a bayonet mount hood.

I have the Canon ES-68, and it has no felt-type inner finish (flocking?). The ebay photos looks almost identical to the Canon version. It looks like it also has the same bayonet mount.
