I'm enjoying this tour of distant places' infrastructure.

I have some just like this. Did these come with drop down candle holders?

Got out to go pay the power bill and decided to stop by our local thrift store. Found a little red for this week's thread

Pretty active, it looks like! RR crossing, store, home. That sounds like a normal day.

LOL......Looks can be deceiving. The power company, RR tracks and , thrift store are all about 1 1/2 miles apart. All on the same road. Have to turn at the light where the store is, go 3 blocks, cross tracks, power company on right one mile......

Kevin.. love the salmon and that building covered in Red!

Thanks Levina and Joayne. The salmon wall is one of my favourites in Vancouver and the building
is the Sylvia Hotel...a local landmark.

This is just a small sample of the take from our garden this afternoon.

We have so many tomatoes this year that my wife has been canning lots of tomato sauce. The beefsteak tomato became part of a BLT...which I ate before I thought about photographing it.

Lovely shots Tim.. and you have a lovely garden!

The garden has been a mixed bag of goods this year. The tomatoes, blueberries and strawberries have done well. The beans, squash, cucumbers and corn did poorly.

On the other hand, the gophers and weeds are thriving.
