I really like that image, only thing that bothers me is those things on the wall behind the heads, they sort of grow from their heads - or is that intentional?

Thanks. This was in a museum (an historical exhibit), so moving those items was not really an option. And all these "old" buildings/rooms were crammed with things, so it was impossible to find a "clean" space. I probably need to improve my Photoshop skills and remove them!

Love this lens...so versatile.

I just checked the Canon 35 1.4 II thread and I'm dissapointed to say that I'm not impressed by the images at all. Not convinced to update either.

Great facial expression and hair in that pose.

Regarding the EF 35mm f/1.4L II thread...its pretty much what I expected for first shots with a new lens. My son "appropriated" my 35L a while back, so I need to decide whether to replace it with the Sigma Art 35 or the new Canon 35L II.

I'm about to grab the first version of this lens, do you think I shall go for the second version or it's not worth paying that much difference?

I ordered a copy of the 35mm II and it just arrived yesterday. I've only had a chance to use it briefly but will be doing direct comparisons between the two versions over the weekend and will be posting my thoughts on the forums. My initial thoughts on the 35mm II are that it achieves focus VERY quickly and reliably, and that it is as sharp as advertised. I'm going to be looking at differences in bokeh, focus accuracy, chromatic aberration, and sharpness.
