The M (240) has focus peaking and magnification. Monitor and EVF are not as good as on the Sony cameras, however.

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.

Gene, are you using the Nissin Air 1 Commander to trigger your Nissin strobes?

Yeah now as you say i remembered i read that some time ago.

I still think that leica cameras are fine, but i owned a few cameras since starting photography 2 or 3 years ago (first a nikon d3000, canon 650d, then 6d, fuji x100s and now the A7R and S, and the sonys are in my opinion exactly what i need in image quality, including low light and colors etc, and the feeling how i shoot with them. They are light and thats worth much to me too. However, those cameras have their flaws in software, had my A7R hanging and giving me strange behaviours again, but battery out battery in solves those problems always. Still the weird little issues is what makes the A7R and A7S less great cameras for professionals, but for me all that counts is how a camera feels when shooting, how it makes me want to shoot with it (it makes me taking it with me more often beause of size and weight compared to the 6D i loved) and the end result. The weird bugs it has doesnt affect me too much so those are perfect cameras for me. The A7Rii seems to be a lot better so i think i will be more than pleased with it when i finally get it.

Tim, yes I am. It works terrific using ETTL and I have access to hi speed sync as well. From the Air 1 Commander, I can adjust the brightness ratio between the flashes at the camera instead of having to go to each light individually to do that. For the price, I may have to get a 3rd flash some day. I need one for a hair/rim light.

Tried the α7R II with the Canon extender EF 2x III on an EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS II USM today at Fall fly days and car show in Addison, Texas. Used the Metabones IV adapter with 0.45 firmware. The camera searched quite a bit for focus and never really nailed it. The camera did a little better without the extender. Below is an example with the extender (BTW the fellow in the back seat paid $1,995 for the ride):

Thank you very much.

Two years ago i was there with my girlfriend for the first time. This weekend i went for the second time but since shes studying there i will be there at least 5 times more. With the train i only have 4 hours from zurich directly and costs depending on the time just 100$. Are you asking because you live there?

Talking about Paris... Just looked up the travel time from my place to Paris (just for fun). From my place to the railway station in Antwerp (Belgium) is about 50 minutes. And from the railway station in Antwerp to Paris North is about 2 hours. That is way too long. :-P

If I was 3-4 hrs away from Paris, I'd be there once a month for photography alone. I drive longer than that just to get out of LA!
It's about 15 hrs to Paris for here (including drive to airport and all that). And it costs north of 1500$.
Sigh...

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.
