Does anyone know where I might be able to find the newer paint color that matches the 70-200 2.8 IS II? From what I've read its a lighter shade of white and all the auctions on eBay don't list that lens as being a match for what they sell.

I've been searching for it too. I had the older white touchup paint and it worked great on older lenses, 70-200 2.8, 100-400, 300 f2.8 IS etc...but the new lenses white is a bit whiter and don't match very well.

I've been considering buying a vial of the older stuff and mixing in some brighter white until it matches. I'd prefer to just buy an exact match though. :/

Just take your collar off of the lens and bring it to a Home Depot and they can color match it. I bought a small pint and it looks like factory paint.

Great idea… what finish did you get? I'm thinking a semi-gloss?

I had absolutely no clue one could even obtain official Canon white lens touch-up paint until I stumbled across this thread.

I do not presently own a white lens, but I have in the past.

I don't think Canon sells touch up paint anymore due to shipping hazards.

But has anyone touched up a lens with the newer white paint? If so, what did you use?
