Here are some pics from the Blue Angels air show in SF this past weekend. They were taken with my 5D Mark III and old school 70-200 F/2.8L IS lens. This was the first time I was using AI Servo and the AF worked great with the default settings. The keeper rate in terms of focus was almost 100%. I only missed a few when I couldn't keep the AF points on the jets because they were moving so fast when they were close to me.

I've had issues with AI Servo with the 7D and 7D Mark II. The 5D Mark III AI Servo just works out of the box. It's like you can't make it misfocus unless your AF point completely misses the subject.

I didn't do much PP. I only cropped and sharpened a tiny bit using DPP 4.
