So B&H has the PIXMA PRO-100 for $399 with a pack of Canon SG-201 Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss 13 x 19" (50 Sheets) included. Canon has a rebate until 10/31 for $250 ($250 Amex gift card) for this combo, which brought the end price down to $149, so I jumped on it. Out for delivery today.

BUT - last night I saw a promo code (PRINTPRO100) from SlickDeals and from ImprovePhotography (both via Facebook & linking to B&H) today that offered an instant $100 off the purchase price.

Since this was realized after-the-fact, I contacted B&H and sent them the links to the 2 websites to see what, if anything, they could do.

They are refunding me $100.

So, the printer plus the paper will have a net cost to me of $49.

I think that rates as a score......

Great deal, thanks for the heads up.

I just ordered one.

They are out of stock for the moment, but more on the way.

Just check Canon Price Watch a couple times a day. That deal was posted on the 13th.

With as often as these deals pop up, I will never have to buy ink from Amazon again. Just buy a new printer and use the ink. If Canon sold the ink for a reasonable price I wouldn't already own a spare printer and maybe one more on the way.

LOL, they are big, and the boxes are even bigger. I feel like I may need to build a shelf system to house more than one as one is in use and another is just sitting in a box. Got the second one 3 months back for less than new ink costs. The only thing keeping me from doing this deal is the desire for a new car in a couple weeks and the possibility that I may bundle this with a 7Dii purchase, otherwise I'd have three of them sitting in my room.

After you add the Pixma PRO-100 to your cart, Middle of the page to the left hand side, Look under HELPFUL LINKS in bold, box is located there to enter the promo code.

Fantastic. Thank you. They like to hide that Promotional Section dont they. I just ordered one. Hoping it will help a friend and her investment into the hobby.

Awesome deal! I've been wanting to get a printer forever. This was too good to pass up.

Apparently so, but I will give them credit. Once I brought it to their attention, they responded to me right away with an updated invoice and credited my cc within 3 days.

So now my learning curve has begun on how to properly set this up with my calibrated monitor so I can do WYSIWYG printing in LR/PS. ;-)a
