I like it. I think you've done an excellent retouching. On my screen, colors and detail looks fantastic. It's definitely good enough to be in Vogue fashion magazine and others.

Thank you so much for the very nice compliments.

I certainly don't need 120mp, but would not mind it if it didn't come with the typical downsides of large megapixels sensors: decreased sensitivity , slower fps/buffer/write speeds, etc etc. Unless Canon has had some sort of break-through in their underlying sensor designs, I don't see the practicality in a 120mp sensor if it means that there are big compromises being made in all other areas of the camera.

In lieu of this ridiculous megapixel pissing contest, I'd be more interested in seeing progress made towards "ISO-less" cameras....where the SNR and DR is flat from ISO100-6400+.

The biggest issue will be diffraction. It will probably be visible at f/4 on a 120MP sensor according to reports

I like your re-edit too Vinz. Did you use PPro to help with the makeup? Regardless, nice job.

My eye is drawn to the nail of the pointer finger closest to her face. What's going on there exactly? It almost looks like she's got a fake nail that's half hanging off, or is my brain misinterpreting what I'm seeing?

Now that you have said that I see it every time I look now. Something weird going on. Looks almost like the fake nail has been squashed up or something. Might be worth photoshopping a nail in Vinz using the good nail

I agree. I've actually been keeping an eye out for a good copy of the Nikkor Ai-S 105/2.5.

I don't know how good it is, but there's one for sale on FMHERE (external link)

i think the F1.8 version is better based on Rockwell's full review...

It's debated everywhere which one is "better" and I basically distrust anything KR says... the main reason I want the f2.5 is that it's significantly smaller and lighter.

isnt the 105 F2.5 kinda heavy?

pretty much all nikons are a tad heavy, I recall the FD 100 F2.8 and OM 100 F2.8 significantly lighter. They'll probably cost a lot less. I was looking for the 100F2.8 not too long ago, but prices seemed pretty absurd for what people were asking. Canon's EF 100F2 can be found at good prices (not sure if it works well with the MBIV), but I am researching that option.
