Way to go Melody!!

Well, the fall colors are FINALLY starting to poke out here. Went out last weekend and the colors were so-so. But I couldn't resist getting a few shots of Mt Katahdin. Thought I would share.

Did anyone get any shots of the Eclipse?

I got some, they're not great, but here are a couple.

Love the fall pictures and moon shots, Barbara.

Melody! Great news regarding the job! Sometimes career paths don't go the way we expect, and often take us places we never thought we would go!
And sometimes it's a great thing! :p

On the other note, I read about you late night experience and agree, you were most likely the best person to come upon the scene. It must have been disturbing however. Hope you're doing ok.

Yes, I did get some eclipse shots.. Here's a thumbnail:

Very nice, Joayne.

Nice fall pictures, Barb! We are waiting for summer to end here, maybe by the end of the month. In the meantime, we are heading over to Monterey at the end of the week for a day long boat trip out on the bay before the humpbacks head out to Central America for the winter. Tomorrow I am off to photograph a baby's first birthday (my 3rd one this month!) & with the Federal Holiday on Monday, I will have a little break from kids & only have Ella 2 days this week. She is so cute but very clingy with me & screams if I walk away from her. I am hoping she gets over that soon as I get very little done when she is here.

I did not get any supermoon shots as it was very overcast here; Joayne, your time lapsed capture is impressive!!

My birthday girl today. She is soooo dang cute!

Love the picture of Ella and those first birthday pictures are adorable, Maureen.

Back to having Nicholas again (every Wednesday & minimum day Mondays) so we went to the park where his older brother got him flying off the teeter totter. iPhone shot.

Good morning everyone! So many great photos here!
The weather here is really starting to cool down. Northern areas getting a little snow this morning. Just raw and rainy here right now. Got out last weekend and took a few more fall foliage shots. The colors are really popping now! Hopefully this rain will let up some and we can take another drive to get more photos before the leaves go by. Here are a few I got last weekend.

A few shots from Monterey yesterday. The clouds came in, then cleared to sunny skies, then fog rolled in, then back out again. It was also quite choppy so taking pictures was more than a normal challenge.

Good afternoon, Lady Photographers. Just so everyone knows, I am neither a lady, nor a female. I spent a fair bit of time perusing your thread. One thing stands about this thread that makes it completely different from most of the others. I saw no instance in this thread where the conversation degenerated into name-calling and personal insults. Men can't seem to have any kind of disagreement without it getting personal, and mean. None of that here. Women are just nicer people. Maybe that is why I like them so much. I have always preferred working with and/or for women. Guys are just so unnecessarily competitive, even about things that just don't matter. I may perceive things differently, but being a male in a female world seems to work well for me.

I saw a few pages back the some of you were concerned that this thread was dying. Don't let that happen! I enjoy this thread. I am sure others do, too. Keep it going!
