A trip to South Dakota

Just got back from my trip to South Dakota. Its beautiful country and I would recommend making a visit. I went for Mount Rushmore, but the highlight of my trip was the Badlands, a truly awesome place.

Excellent photos! How did you get so close to the Sitting Bull Memorial. I thought it was off limits.

Thanks! I used a 70-200 lens to get the close up shot of Crazy Horse.

Really nice. I love the first one and the detail in Sitting Bull. I visited there over
20 years ago and it has come a long way since then.

Great series. I am from the Black Hills area and they brought back great memories.

Those coloured ranged are something aren't they and what a contrast against the manipulated landscape.
