Hello. I want to get a used camera and lens to dedicate to my office. I used to use a t2i with a Tamron zoom for my product shots and that handled the load fine. I have a 5 flash setup and tether to a laptop.

Any thoughts on an economical camera/lens combo? It will live on the tripod in my office. Thanks!

Was about to buy a t2i body locally for $200 w/ 10k shots taken, then found this deal on Adorama for a new t6i and went for it:

I can sell the printer and lens for 550, bringing the body down to $200 after rebate. No brainier :-)

How large an area? There are some very good bridge cameras these days that can do macros and table-view shots quite handily, especially if it is going to live on a tripod at the desk. I am not convinced an older DSLR with lens is either cost effective or better than some of the newest bridge cameras, or enthusiast cameras like the Gx series.

EDIT: I see you already got something. Just a heads up though, the 18-135 STM goes for around $200-300 on the used market (even if new, it will sell at a used price), and the printers sell for around $100-150. After all your fees and shipping, you might net about $350, maybe $400. So $400 + $350 mail in rebate = 750 minus the $1150 means the camera will be about $400, correct? Then you still need a lens?
