Looks like you had a great time in Cornwall, I do miss living there sometimes.

Well that was an interesting final meeting for us - Saturday started misty but cleared to 16 > 18 degrees, running into the night race, never really tried much shooting in the dark and it was odd to say the least, got a few that are okay but wouldn't be that bothered if I never did it again. Then Sunday was blue skies from the off, a very brief low cloud / fog moment before lunch then back to normal only for the fog to return with a vengeance for the 3rd race, ended up with the meeting being stopped and the night race cancelled - could understand it completely as I couldn't see the track and I was almost stood on it.

Few randoms for you

Another cracking motorsport set David well done.

We have a model workshop day at the studio on the 29th with Kristina and Roger, who I've posted photos of before here, we have zero space left in the 10:00-14:00 session and four left for the 15:00-1900 session at a cost of £45 per session if anyone is interested pm me. Blatant marketing mode off.

Hi guys, sorry have not paid much attention for a while

@ David ~ nice to see some motorsports again. The kitty litter shots especially have 'action' though I surmise none of it intended by the drivers ;)

@ Richard ~ never been to Berlin so thanks for sharing and some atmospheric images there.

@ Andy ~ cracking couple of images there. #1 the foreground rocks made me think of fingers of a giant buried in the sand #2 an interesting deserted harbour scene with some lovely light. However, I think the horizon needs levelling a tad as slightly lower on the rhs than the lhs.......?

@ Dom ~ the Hi Key portrait looks very good though the more I look at it and do see whether this makes sense for you, it gains strength if I crop it below her nose i.e. just above her lips..............somehow the red lips pull the eye away from her eyes and that IMO is the strongest part of the image but the blown highlights on her oof left ear I am unsure about though the eye makeup does compliment it???

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Thanks Laurence, I understand where your coming from but the lips are part of the overall image it's all about the colours against the white face like in the Visage Fade To Grey video.

Worth seeing again Ian great shot.

Liking that one Dom, Ian - superb, never been up to London at night, maybe worth re thinking.

Anyone here used Elstree for body servicing? just dropped the 1DX this morning for it's first year service, also to remove the stubborn oil spots that wouldn't budge with a wet clean - had the err 80 a couple of times as well. Just want a little reassurance from someone who has used them as opposed to the usual 'review' sites.

Thanks gang

.DAVID.

As it a Canon service centre, you get a good service, and they know what they are doing. I've had a lens repaired there and the 5D3 checked.

I'm thinking of get up London soon, if your intrested.
