Epic light this morning:

Great series! I especially like the one with the Virgin Atlantic plane.

Where do you go to access such a great view of planes at the airport? I've been to look around for a good vantage point, but couldn't seem to find anything.

Thanks! It all depends on which airport/country you are in. Some airports have nice locations, other less.

You seemed to now have removed your location, but from what it was a few moments we had basically the same one. Is this not where you took your airport pictures? I'm not stupid to ask you this thinking that there's one right answer for all airports in the world...

And I'm looking at your site, and some of those are clearly marked as being YOW. So I'm just asking if you have some kind of special access, or if you take your pics from land accessible to the larger public.

Looking pretty good, how are you finding the 150-600 (which one did you get btw?), I spent a few days tossing up between the Sigma 150-600S and the Canon 400 5.6, end up going for the later, but have heard only good stuff from most of the people who own 150-600's

I got myself the 'C' , couldn't bring myself to spend the extra money. its a fantastic lens, I'm extremely happy i got it, its focus is fast and on the mark nearly every time.
It probably dosnt pair best with the 6D, i may look at getting my 7D back to use on this lens. but all up it still works a treat

My sister in law holding my new niece. Shot in raw, edited in lightroom, photoshop cc for some light liquify and skin clearing and finally in Nik Analog Efex 2 for the soft vintage feeling. I usually don't love doing heavy vintage filters but for maternity and newborn/baby shots they really soften up the image while keeping the clarity that I like. Thanks for looking!

I just ordered a 6D, yay, currently I have a T3i with a battery grip for 2 years and I love using it for portrait shots, do anyone use a battery grip?

The grip was the first accessory I purchased for my 6D. It helps balance the heavier/longer lenses, and the extended battery life works fantastically. Since then, I pretty much always buy grips for anything I buy. I can't imagine not having one on my bodies now.
And if you liked portrait before wit the T3i, you are gonna love the 6D. I made that exact same upgrade and it made a huge difference.
