These are just my thoughts, this is a very nice image, and everyone processes differently.

1. I think the skin is a little over done, she's gone to Barbie land, in my opinion, which may mean nothing if that is how you like them. Personally, I'd dial it back to 50 percent and adjust to taste.

2. her chest needs to be a smidge darker, and I'd enhance that tattoo down there as I think it adds to the portrait

3. I'd have backed up or cropped a smidge looser, leaving room above her head and below her fingertips.

You are right on the catchlights, this is where a reflector, even if it didn't add much to the exposure on the face, may have added an attractive sparkle.

These are all photographer nits.. other humans will love it as is. The colors are to die for, really nice pallet.

How would you go about making the tattoo/henna stand out? I think I painted in some clarity and it still needs more punch

Darkening the chest a smidge with a smidge of contrast/clarity (LR) should make it stand out better. Otherwise painting in an adjustment (PS) is the other way to go.

That is one major league owl. His talons are nearly the size of her hands. I believe I might be a little fearful of having my face that close to something that could snatch it right off my head.
