Anyway, I find it odd that Canon doesn't simply include this information as part of the firmware.
Me too.

After setting up all the menu and functions, operationally it is about 95% of my 1DX... if not more. And I paid 1/6 of the price compared to the 1DX. I love how I can set BBF AF to either use AI-Servo or One-Shot without changing the settings. LOVE IT!!!

Oct 28, 2015 22:04 | #141 I may be late on this, but I noticed the 55-250is STM is currently priced at $145, but when you layer on one of the promo codes, it drops it to $123.75. Pretty sweet price for this lens and lower than anything I have seen asked for used ones. Will take me a little to get use to the power that's in this little camera. Looks like the 70D is going up for sale soon.

Oct 29, 2015 07:49 | #146 Shutter count on my 6D was 22. Effectively brand new! By the way, it was sent in a power shot box. This is my first time buying a refurb. Is that normal? I was expecting a 6D box, so when it arrived I thought canon sent the wrong item. Josh

Before the refurb items would be sent in white boxes. More recently the refurb items have been sent in the power shot boxes.
