I said don't ask her, not tell her not to. I never ask my subjects to smile, that way when they do, it's genuine, not forced. :-)

Okay, I'll take one for the team and come right out and say it....your wife is very pretty but the quality of the photos taken with your smartphone leave much to be desired.

Totally agree. Smartphones can hype up their camera quality all they want but fact is fact...nothing beats an old fashion camera...hoping to get my first for Xmas. She can't wait either! She deserves to be portrayed for the beautiful woman she is. Thanks for not being too down on me. ;O)

Interesting...

We have been married for 52 years now... :) So two shots of my wife: one with an iPhone 6 and one with a 5DIII. Can you tell which is which?

My guess is the bottom image is with the iphone!-?
Based on the greater dynamic range of the first image.

Equipment list - According to the wife - "how many more lenses do you need? Yet another camera?" ???

Yup, you're being reflected in the glass panes.

Yes the second one is the iPhone. But hard to tell otherwise, isn't it?

It was even easier before he edited the model names out of the EXIF.

The difference was immediately evident even on my iPhone screen but it is much ado about nothing. Doesn't really matter what device a picture comes from. Especially an image of a loved one.

We didn't get to do an actual shoot, but she did dress as a cat for Halloween.
